What a week it's been at Evergreen Academy Middle School! Our 6th graders had a blast exploring all the cool stuff Chicago has to offer – bet they made some awesome memories! Meanwhile, Ms. Lai-Bao and Ms. Jasmin took the Virtual Travel Club on a trip to the Heritage Museum of Asian Arts. They got to see all sorts of incredible Asian art and then even tried some yummy dumplings and smoothies at AFusion restaurant for Asian Heritage Month – how cool is that?!
The Zumba club was shaking things up, learning some seriously fun moves inspired by Shakira. Sounds like a blast!
And a massive shout-out to our fantastic 8th graders! They totally crushed their STAR Assessments this week, showing some serious growth in both reading and math. Mrs. Strok, Ms. Polak, and their teachers celebrated their hard work with a treat in the school garden – way to go, 8th grade!
