We, at Evergreen Academy Middle School, ensure that students are prepared to collaborate, innovate, and apply skills for chosen career fields in an environment guided by the middle school values of academic excellence, social equity, developmental responsiveness, and a positive organizational structure. We work to develop and sustain strong leadership that facilitates a collaborative and safe environment with a rigorous, integrated, standards-based curriculum. We empower all students to explore, create, make decisions, problem-solve, share ideas, and advocate for their community as they work towards becoming more productive, empathetic citizens in a diverse society.

Tigers represent at the All- City Visual Arts Exhibition

We’re pleased to announce that Yerik’s artwork has been selected for display at this year’s All-City Visual Arts Exhibition at the Design Museum of Chicago. This annual exhibition showcases achievement in visual and media arts by CPS students grades K-8. Seventh grader Alessandra received an honorable mention. Both students used Pixilart.com to create their artwork digitally using layers and raster graphics tools. These digital images illustrate architecture using 3D drawing techniques. Their artwork will be published on the official All-City Visual Arts website https://cpsallcityvisualarts.org/ on May 1st at 10am.

🧧 Celebrating the Spring Festival: A STEAM Journey

🎉 What an incredible journey into the Spring Festival our students had! 🏮 We recently celebrated the Lunar New Year with a series of immersive STEAM learning stations that beautifully blended ancient traditions with modern innovation. Our students experienced the rich cultural heritage of China through active participation, and we couldn't be prouder of their curiosity and spirit!

First designated in 2010, Evergreen Academy continues to be recognized every three years for excellence in meeting the needs of middle school students, thanks to dedicated leadership, staff, families, and community support. We Did It Again!
