🌋 Science just erupted in Mr. Basco's class! 🧪 Our brilliant students have been busy tackling an epic, hands-on challenge: building and erupting miniature volcano models! The objective? For students to successfully plan and carry out an investigation to create a model that accurately simulates flowing lava. But the learning didn't stop there—they also faced a critical real-world engineering challenge: designing and testing safety barriers to protect a model urban center situated at the base of their volcano. It was an incredible lesson in both geology and practical problem-solving.
